Steve Kneipp

Steve discovered he had a passion for building things starting when he was a young child and has chased that passion ever since. After college he was hired as a superintendent for a large production home company where he learned as much as he possible before moving to the corporate side of the construction business. In 2004, Steve went on to open the BRC group of companies and has been dedicated to it’s success and growth while never losing touch with the importance of a happy customer. In 2008 Steve crossed paths with Jon and realized that Jon would be a perfect counterpart who believed in many of the same principles, and from that meeting BRC Builders, LLC was created.

Jon Kilgore

Jon is a true entrepreneur with a focus and dedication to business ownership and development that began in high school. Detailing cars as a summer job led to forming a company which gained steady business, including commercial clients and a contract with Disney to detail all monorails, trams and ferry boats. Graduating from the University of Central Florida in 2003 with a degree in Business Administration and a profitable business under his belt, Jon wanted to hone in on his true passion for construction. In 2005, he earned his contracting license and collaborated with Don Evans from “The Evans Group” to form DesignCrafters, LLC. In 2007, after receiving a wealth of experience in custom design/build homes and renovations including earning 4 Aurora Awards, Jon returned to his business roots and created his own construction company, Nu Design Builders, Inc. The company focused primarily on residential construction with projects spanning all over Central Florida. With a desire to forge a relationship with the commercial market, Jon encountered Steve in 2008 and a partnership formed to create BRC Homes as a branch of BRC Builders.
