Engineering Wood Flooring

While the quality of solid wood flooring is uncontested, for a little cheaper option you can purchase engineered wood flooring. Engineered wood flooring is made up of several think planks of wood, the top being of a higher quality wood for appearance. This type of flooring is easier to install, as you can use nails, glue, or even staples.
